I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I really enjoyed it. The concept was great, I didn't know what to expect from this but this was a fantastic book. It was a fast read and very enjoyable. I loved this mystery and the suspense. I was so sad about Marmalade, I was really hoping she was going to stay through the book. I would love to read this book again but at the same time not to since I already know what's going to happen lol.  

- Cassie
Cassie was great lead. I did find her annoying at times, but she was great nonetheless. I wish she would have been a little more open than she was but then things wouldn't have gone the way they were supposed to if she did. I am so glad I was given the chance to read this book because this was fantastic. I was a little disappointed with how fast the actual scene at the end went but this was great.  
- Dante
I really liked Dante's character from when we first met him. I wasn't expecting things to go so fast between him and Cassie though. I was intrigued by Dante, there was so much mystery in him I just wanted to know everything about him. He was a great character.  

Overall, this was a great read. It was fast and very intriguing. As I said before, I wished the whole epic scene at the end was just a little bit more epic. But I loved the suspense of it all. I was getting scared for Cassie so many times but damn she was a great character. I loved the ending and really enjoyed this book.

My Review:

“He didn’t give me flowers or candy. He gave me the moon and the stars. Infinity."  

This was a perfect end to the series. I loved this. I didn't enjoy the first book in the series and I wasn't so interested in continuing this series after I finished it but boy am I glad I did. This was perfect. I loved the second book and this one. I now love Jenny Han.  

- Belly
Belly has grown so much from the girl in book one. She is much more mature and is a great main lead. I wished there were more scenes with Conrad but this was great. I think this ended great for Belly, she got who she wanted and this was a perfect ending.  

- Conrad
Ah Conrad. Conrad Conrad Conrad. I loved him. He is so amazing. I liked reading through his point of view and seeing how he was actually handling things than watching him in Belly's point of view was much better. He can be very confusing to understand in Belly's point of view but I loved reading through his. He was so much more vulnerable. I loved that.  

- Jeremiah  I liked Jeremiah's character. I never really liked him for Belly. He was just always supposed to be a good friend but things escalated since book 2. It ended great for him but things would have been so much better if he just accepted being a friend to her.  

Overall, as I said before, this was a perfect end to the series. I'm sad to see it go. I will give Jenny's other books a try. Phenomenal book.

My Review:

“I felt I should repeat it for the other slipper, in case there should be any bad feelings between the two. One should never create tension between one's footwear.”   

I loved this one! I have loved all the books in The Morganville Series and I still love them. This one was fantastic. I was a mess after reading this. First I was happy, then sad, frustrated, back to happy then sad, depressed and then happy again. I didn't know what to expect from this one but I was surprised. This was perfect.

- Claire
I still love Claire's character. She never seizes to amaze me. She's just so great at so many things, I wish I was as smart as her, I mean she's unbelievable. I can't wait to see what happens in this next books in this series and how it end.

- Shane
I love Shane. He made me cry a couple of times and ugh I love him. I would totally fight Claire for him. I love his snarky remarks and he is hilarious, and loyal.

- Eve
Eve, my god. I could not stop crying after what happened to her. That was just so devastating. I seriously need to know how this series ends because this was just my god. Eve is so badass and so strong.

- Michael
Oh my god. Michael ahh! He also made me cry. Ugh so much crying in this one. I was so emotional which I rarely am in books. But man this one did it for me. I can't even begin to talk about Michael. Let's just continue on.

Overall, I loved this one so much. There was so much drama and ah perfect. I wanted more, I already borrowed the last two books from my library. I really want to finish this series and there to be a happy ending for Claire, Shane, Eve, and Michael. They have been through so much I just want everything to get better for them. Don't even get me started on Oliver and Amelie, lol! Loved loved loved this!

My Review:

"That must have been quite an experience for you.”   

I didn't love this book but at the same time I didn't quite hate it. I got annoyed in the beginning because Kyle was just too annoying. I mean I know he's supposed to be a jerk but he was just annoying. I couldn't really picture a lot of things, like him as a beast. Half the time I was picturing Beast from Beauty and The Beast (Disney version) and other times I was thinking of a Lycan from Underworld...

- Kyle
I can't say I liked him. I mean he was alright. But towards the end I just cringed when he kept saying things formal. Like whenever he would talk like an old man. I know it was supposed to be romantic but I mean eh..  

- Lindy
I loved Lindy's character. I thought she was the best thing in the book. I do like the movie version better when she is played as Vanessa Hudgens but she was really cool.  

Overall, I did enjoy this book don't get me wrong. But I just didn't love it like I was expecting to. I loved the movie but the book didn't quite do it for me. But it is a good book overall. It was a nice retelling of Beauty and The Beast with modern day teenagers in New York City.

Sapphire Blue by Kerstin Gier - Book Review

And Xemerius, the gargoyle demon who has been following Gwen since he caught her kissing Gideon in a church, offers advice on everything. Oh, yes. And of course there is Gideon, the Diamond. One minute he’s very warm indeed; the next he’s freezing cold. Gwen’s not sure what’s going on there, but she’s pretty much destined to find out.

My Review:

“Nick demonstrated twenty-three ways of communicating without words by fanning himself with a napkin. "This one means oops, your fly is open, sir, and if you lower the fan a little and look at someone over the top of it, it means wow, I'd like to marry you. But if you do it the other way around, it means ha ha, we are now at war with Spain.”   

First of all, I would like to say that this cover is stunning! And secondly, I loved this one. Time travel always confuses me and I was still rather confused with this one. I didn't really remember much from the last book when I started this one but I was easily caught up. I still don't get half of what I just read but I kind of get the gist of it. I do think the book dragged a bit.

- Gwen
I loved Gwen's character, although I wish she stood up for herself more. She is hilarious though, I love reading her snarky remarks. In this book, no one wishes to tell her about anything really, and I really like what she did instead. You see, instead of being a brat and whining for them to tell her what's going on, she goes on and looks for information for herself even though it is all rather confusing (at least it was for me). She is a very smart and talented character.  

- Gideon
What is with him?? I was soo confused with him more than the whole time traveling issue. I was all happy towards the ending with him and Gwen and then that turned into hate and then towards confusion after reading the epilogue. I am in need to read the next book to understand what the hell is going on and hopefully all my questions are answered in the next book.  

Overall, this was a great add to the series. I am hoping to read the next book soon, I think it's going to be great. Hopefully, I'm not disappointed. Am I the only one who never seems to understand time travel? Anyway, looking forward to the ending of this series.

My Review:

“I wish I could freeze this moment, right here, right now and live in it forever.”   

This was a fantastic book. I don't know why it took me so long to finally read this one. I remember trying to read it countless times and always stopped after the first chapter but I kept telling myself to continue and boy am I glad I did. This was a great book, I loved it even more than the movie and I really enjoyed the movie as well. I did see the movie before I read the book so I did know what has going to happen but I loved the more detailed writing than actually watching the film.  

- Katniss
First of all, I love her name so much. She is so incredibly smart and has such courage. I did find her annoying at many times though, especially with Peeta. She can be very confusing but she still is rather amazing. She is a real badass and I love when she shoots her arrows. I wish I could do that, that would be so much fun. I think that's why I love her so much though, she can just be so amazing just with her bow and arrows. She doesn't need to be going off to the hunger games or trying to survive, if this book was just about her in a forest shooting things I think I would have loved it the same.  

- Peeta
I love Peeta so much. Honestly, I don't think Katniss deserves him. He has so many great qualities and is just so easy to love. Peeta is amazing, it's really hard to not fall for him. I don't think there's something bad I can say about him, because he's perfect. I wish things were different for him and Katniss though, I want him to be happy. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.  

Overall, this book made me cry quite a couple of times. This is so far my favorite in the series. I am excited to read the next book and see what happens next because this was awesome. I did see Mockingjay part 1 in the movie theater already but there's still that whole other part that was left unsaid and I can't wait to read the rest.

The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines - Book Review

My Review:

I loved this book! I have waited for so long to read this book and honestly it was worth the wait. I really loved this one. This was just the book for a summer romance. This was a unique story and it was fantastic. Since I never do this, I wan't to use some gifs...

Okay, now that the pictures have spoken for themselves, let's get onto the characters.

- Ashton
I really liked Ashton's character. The real her, not the fake one she had put on for everyone else. I love seeing her being herself with Beau, she's just incredible. She felt so much guilt though, I mean I understand why she did but damn girl. Although she was a great character I hated how long it took her to stand up for herself with the stupid kids at the school. But she is an awesome character overall.
- Beau
I love Beau. He is so amazing and ah! I want a Beau. I hated the way everyone judged him without even getting to know him. He is just simply perfect. There are way too many great qualities about Beau I am trying to find a bad one. It is nearly impossible. But I did find one, his cold shoulder. I hate when he shut Ashton out, he was just so confusing! If there weren't point of views from Beau's side, I would have never known how he was really thinking and would have had so many different mixed signals. But he is honestly quite perfect, I loved his character.

- Sawyer
Eh, can't say I loved him. I tolerated him. It wasn't until the last few pages before I finally started to like him. I wanted to reach in the book and punch him so many times. He finally gained my acceptance in the last few pages. I do want to read the next book and see how things work out for him and Ashton's cousin.

Overall, I loved this book so much. I would reread this book numerous times just to be able to read Ashton's and Beau's romance all over again. It was just so cute and perfect. I feel like I've said that word a lot of times but this book was perfect, best way for me to describe it.

My Review:

I'm honestly not really sure what to say about this book. I really enjoyed the first book and had high hopes for this one but I was sadly disappointed. This was just a terrible book. I did not enjoy any scenes at all, everything was just bleh. I didn't like the plot, the characters, I can't say there was one thing in this book that I liked. This was just terrible.

- Leslie
Horrible main character. She was just ugh.  I can't even find words to say how much I disliked Leslie's character. She has recently been through traumatic events she chooses to get a tattoo that ties her to Irial. Now, after going through her traumatic events, I just can't believe how easy it was for her to just -- I'm just not going to say anything about that because I don't want to spoil anything for any of you. All I can say was that I did not like Leslie at all.

- Niall
When we are first introduced to him, I had such high hopes for him. But that plummeted rather fast. I can't say that I liked any of the characters in this book. Niall seemed like he was going to be such a great character, I thought I was going to fall in love with him, but sadly (again) I was disappointed with the outcome.

- Irial
No. No. No. No.
I hate Irial.
Can I just throw boulders at him? Ugh, even though he went through a change, I couldn't bring myself to like him. He was just ugh. I can't even find words to describe honestly.

Overall, I did not like this book at all. I do plan on reading the rest of the series because I did enjoy the first book but I'm expecting much anymore. After reading this one, I'm not sure if I want to get the next book anytime soon because this was just horrible.

My Review:

This was an ok book. I was really starting to like it after the first chapter, but then everything went downhill from there. The thing that bothered me most was all the flashbacks. I'm okay with a few but this was an overload of them. I didn't cry like I'd thought I would, and the ending was so predictable. There were a few nice scenes which made me want to give this book 2 stars instead of just one. Only after I finished this book did I watch the movie and I have to say that I enjoyed the movie so much more than the book.  

- Mia
I don't really know how I feel about Mia. She was a nice character to read and I find it unique that she plays the cello. I didn't love her, but at the same time I didn't quite hate her, she was just okay. She was pretty dull. It was really hard to connect with these characters honestly.  

- Adam
I think Adam was the only good part in this book. There were some ridiculous moments though, "play me like a cello" ... no. I just felt awkward reading that part and just quickly skimmed through that. But Adam is a nice guy overall, he seems too perfect like a dream come true.  

I think that was the major issue with this book. Everything seemed too perfect, of course not the crash, but the parents Mia had are the dream parents that every teenage daughter/son wished they had.  

Overall, I couldn't connect with any of the characters in this book. Don't get me wrong there were a few scenes I liked but that's it. Everything else was just so dull and I think the best thing that happened in the book was at the end, when I finished. I was just so glad to be done with the book, I was happy it was a short read because I don't know how I could have gone 200 more pages of flashbacks and bleh. I really did want to love this book, but it just wasn't the book for me.

My Review:

“This doesn't make sense." 
"I know," Kylie said. "And that seems to be the theme song of my life right now. Not a damn thing makes sense.”  

What a perfect end to the series! I loved this book so much. I am just now writing a review for this so I don't remember all the details but I do remember so many things that were just amazing. I couldn't help but notice there were a couple of spelling errors (I spot them really easily, they just pop up when I'm reading) but the great pace of the book didn't let it bother me too much. I am so glad with how this book ended, I have loved all the books in this series.

- Kylie
Such an amazing character. I think she deserves an award for one of the best female main characters. She is completely perfect and badass with her talents and just everything about her is great. She is a little pissy though and has more of an attitude in this book. Not as much Della though!

- Lucas
I love you. Marry me?
No? Ok. *hits head with a shovel and puts him in my trunk* Mwahahah
I love Lucas so much, I felt so betrayed by him in Whispers at Moonrise but I mean, I couldn't stay mad at him for any longer than the first chapter. He is just so sweet and amazing. If Kylie didn't have powers I would have fought her for him, but since she does...I'm just going to weep and love Lucas from afar.

- Derek
I love how it ended for Derek. He is such a great friend to Kylie and so incredibly sweet. I used to love him so much more than I loved Lucas but I'm team Lucas all the way.

Overall, I loved this book. If it wasn't obvious enough..  I just realized that there were novellas from Della's point of view, that seems so great! I can't wait to get those. This was such a great end to the series I'm so sad to see it go. There were so many scenes that had my laughing I had to keep rereading the lines because it was just so much fun to read those scenes over and over again...

“She tossed her towel on her dresser and turned to the bed where shed left her PJs. Only it wasn't just her PJs on the bed anymore.
Lucas, eyes wide, sat on the foot of her bed, about four feet from where she stood completely naked.
She squealed.
He laughed.
She dashed for the towel.
Once she had it around her, she glared from a still grinning Lucas to the door. "I'm killing Della!"
He laughed again. "I'm afraid I might have to protect her for this one.”

"I just..."
"Did I say you could talk?" he asked. He did three more pacing laps, as if working off steam, before he looked at her again. "Where were you going, Kylie?" When she just looked at him, he bit out, "Answer me."

“Just happens?” Burnett bellowed out. “Are you freaking kidding me! If you have sex, you use protection. It’s that simple. This shit doesn’t have to happen! This is nothing but carelessness. It’s irresponsible. It’s unforgivable.”
“Burnett!” Holiday rolled her eyes at Kylie and frowned. The fae knew exactly what Kylie was up to now. But Kylie wasn’t finished yet. “
Maybe we should put a rule in place. Any male who impregnates a girl should be neutered.”
“Enough,” Holiday snapped.
“Actually, that’s not a bad plan!” he growled.
“Burnett!” Holiday said in a stern voice. “Shut up before you embarrass yourself more than you already have.” When the vampire looked at Holiday, she continued, “Kylie didn’t buy the pregnancy tests for Miranda. She bought them for me.” Kylie flopped back against the seat again, enjoying the look of disbelief on the vampire’s face a little too much.
“Would you like a name of a good doctor who will schedule your little snip-snip operation?" she bit out."

My Review:

“There are moments in life that you wish with all your heart you could take back. Like, just erase from existence. Like, if you could, you'd erase yourself right out of existence too, just to make that moment not exist.”  

I really enjoyed this book much more than I did with book one. I remember not really loving book one but at the same time not hating it. I am so glad I gave this book a try because this was perfect. This is definitely my favorite in the series so far. There were some flaws in the book but what book doesn't have some flaws? But there were just so many perfect scenes that it was incredibly easy to forget about the few flaws in the book. I am truly excited to start the last book in this series because after the ending of this one, I really need to know how this ends.

- Belly
I think she has matured some from the first book. I couldn't stand her in the last book but she was much better in this one. She may have acted a little childish at one point in the book, but hey she was drunk. I'm positive many people act immature when they're drunk and act childish at some point. Belly character was a much better improvement in this book. I felt really bad for Belly because of the intensity of her relationship with her mother but I think it worked out really well for the both of them. I really can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

- Conrad
I still love Conrad much more than Jeremiah. Even though he was a jerk a lot of times through this book (same as the first book, maybe even a little more) it was really nice to see when the nice side came out of him. Conrad is the kind of guy who would give a girl a lot of mixed signals, first he wants to be with you and then the next he wants nothing to do with you and then repeat. Even though he has such a crappy side to him I still love him!

- Jeremiah
I like his character. I think he would be an amazing boyfriend for a lot of girls, just not for Belly. He is a really great character in this series but for some reason it's hard for me to see him as a boyfriend for Belly. I wonder how it's going to go for him the next book.

Overall, I really did love this book. I laughed and I cried but I loved it. This was a pretty fast read, and the perfect contemporary romance for summer. As I said multiple times, I can't wait to read the next book.
